Significant dates in the preparation of Progress Report 2 are:
Saturday, 18 April 1998
· Bookings for advertisments close. Bookings should be
made with the Publications Division in Australia. No bookings made
after this date or unbooked copy received after this date can be guaranteed
for publication.
Saturday, 16 May 1998
· Final deadline for editorial copy.
· Deadline for advertising copy to be provided to the Publications
Division in Australia. We strongly recommend that you send advertising
copy to the Publications Division in Australia so that it is received by
this date (please note that airmail from the US to Australia can take up
to two weeks).
Saturday, 13 June 1998
· Final deadline for advertising copy to be provided to the
US Division (PO Box 266, Prospect Heights IL 60070-0266, USA). If
you can't make the deadline for sending advertising copy to the Publications
Division in Australia, you can send it to the US Division instead as long
as it arrives before this date. Whichever address you use, you only
need to send us advertising copy once. The e-mail address for the

Advertising rates for Progress Report 2 are provided below. Payment should be made at the time space is booked. If payment is not received with or before final advertising copy is provided, Aussiecon Three reserves the right to withhold publication. Both US dollar checks and Australian dollar cheques should be made payable to Aussiecon Three. US dollar checks will be accepted by the Publications Division in Australia.
Please note that standing World Science Fiction Conventions and bona fide Bidding Committees for future World Science Fiction Conventions will be provided with a free half-page advertisment in Progress Report 2. The booking and copy deadlines specified above also apply to free advertising space. The free half page can be combined with purchased space to make up a full page (that is, get a full page for half the normal fannish rate).
Progress Report 2 will be printed on US Letter size paper (8.5" x 11").
The maximum usable page size is 7" by 10" (0.75" left and right margins
and 0.5" top and bottom margins). The maximum usable page size for
half page ads is 7" by 5" or 3.5" by 10". To convert inches to centimetres,
multiply the inches by 2.54.
