As it did in 1982, 1991, and 2000, Chicago's Hyatt Regency Hotel will again host the World Science Fiction Convention. Located in the Magnificent Mile on the south bank of the Chicago River, it sits near the Lakefront and in the middle of Chicago's downtown attractions.

The hotel has recently renovated its rooms, and Chicon 7 has negotiated a single price of $145 for all rooms, single through quad. Reservations will open in January of 2012, with enough rooms for everyone.

No braving traffic, weather, or long treks in 2012. Panels, Art Show, Concourses, Dealers Room, Masquerade, and Hugo Ceremony will all be held comfortably within the confines of the hotel.
