Hugo Awards
Chicon 7 is honored to host the Hugo Awards, also known as the Science Fiction Achievement Awards, to recognize the best in the field of science fiction and fantasy. At Chicon 7, the Hugo Awards will recognize the best works and creators in the year 2011. At the beginning of the calendar year 2012, this page will display a nomination for the 2012 Hugos, and later in the year a final ballot will be available, and the award winners will be posted during the convention.

- Best Novel (40,000 words or more)
- Best Novella (17,500 to 40,000 words)
- Best Novelette (7,500 to 17,500 words)
