Coupons and Voucher Sites

This site offers coupons for restaurants in several cities, including Chicago. The deals vary from restaurant to restaurant, depending on what the establishment has decided to offer. A typical deal is to pay $10 and get a coupon for $25 worth of food and/or drinks. The coupons have no expiration dates, so you can safely buy now and use them when you're here for Chicon. You can collect your coupons over time - using this method, you could have eight (or more) coupons by the time you arrive. Some coupons have restrictions such as not being valid on Fridays or Saturdays. Be sure to read the fine print before purchasing! Restaurant.com also offers a smartphone app.

Groupon (www.groupon.com)

You can sign up to receive daily deal notices for as many cities as you like (provided, of course, that Groupon operates in a city). Groupon is more limited than Restaurant.com, in that you have only one day to purchase a deal, and coupons have expiration dates - but many deals are good for up to six months from date of purchase. Note that not all deals are food-related; hot stone spa treatments, sky-diving, and other such offerings show up just as regularly as food offers.
