Publications
Chicon 7 produced a number of publications, both before and at the convention.
Progress Reports
Chicon 7 produced five Progress Reports in total. The first four of these were produced in paper format, with PDFs available for those members requesting electronic publications. The final Progress Report was electronic only and was provided in the form of a
web page on this web site. PR5 included key information to help members have a trouble-free arrival and start to their stay in Chicago.
All of the Progress Reports can be downloaded from our
Progress Reports page.
At Con Publications
Our At Con Publications comprised:
- The traditional Worldcon Souvenir Book, a substantial, color publication with features on our Guests, on Chicago, and on the history of Worldcon.
- A Pocket Program (see below) with the detailed convention schedule and descriptions of all program items.
- A commemorative full color Artist Showcase. This will be the printed version of the online showcase available on this website, featuring biographies and illustrative artwork from the artists represented in the Art Show.
- An at-con Newsletter as well as daily "pink sheets" with information on program changes. See below.

Newsletters and Pink Sheets
Chicon 7's At-Con newsletter was entitled "The Write Stuff". Nine official issues were produced in total.
There was also a single issue of
The Wrong Stuff, a hoax zine.
And for program, there were daily Pink Sheets.
