This is Sunny California. If you're coming to L.A.con IV, consider that late August is the height of summer. Take mostly summer clothes, but also bring things like sweaters and light jackets to layer with in the evenings. Evening temperatures are expected to be in the sixties (F). Anaheim is a "desert" climate; the temperature varies as much as 30F between day and night. (You'll also have to deal with hotel air conditioning, so you might want something lightweight that you can carry around for when it's needed.)
