Membership Rate Increase: our membership rates will be increasing on January 1, 2013. The Adult Attending rate will be increasing from $180 to $200, so make sure you buy yours now to beat the change.
Here Come the Hugos!
The nomination period for the 2013 Hugo Awards and John W. Campbell Award will start in early January and continue until March 10, 2013.
Nomination is open to anyone who is an Adult, Young Adult, or Supporting member of LoneStarCon 3 or Loncon 3 (the 2014 Worldcon) as of January 31, 2013, as well as all Adult, Young Adult, and Supporting members of Chicon 7 (the 2012 Worldcon).
The Hugo Awards are the most prestigious awards given in the field of science fiction, and recent years have seen a substantial increase in voting levels with over 1,100 people nominating and over 1,900 voting in the final ballot last year. Help us to continue this trend and play your part in recognizing the best work of 2012.
