- The June 6, 2001 MCFI meeting has been rescheduled for June 20, 2001 at 8 PM.
- April 30, 2001
- The 62nd Worldcon Science Fiction Site Selection Ballot is now available. The Site Selection fee is $35. The deadline for receipt of mail-in ballots is August 15, 2001. Voting at the Millennium Philcon will end at 6 PM EDT on Saturday, September 1, 2001.

- Our filing papers for the Site Selection of the 62nd World Science Fiction Convention are now online. Since the filing, our room block in the Boston Sheraton has increased to 900 rooms, bringing our total to 1800 between two hotels.
- An MCFI meeting has been
scheduled for May 2, 2001.
- We will be helping with the Con Suite at CorFlu 18.

- November 21, 2000
- During Noreascon 3 in 1989, we created the Worldcon
Pass-Along Funds practice where groups which had run
worldcons would "pass along" some of their funds to future
worldcons. MCFI is deeply committed to this practice, and
we agree that if we are selected to run the 62nd Worldcon,
we will once more participate in the Pass-Along Funds
program.
