Reno - Renovation, the 69th World Science Fiction Convention in Reno, mailed Progress Report #1 (PR1), starting with overseas progress reports this week on Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

PR1 features cover art by Guest of Honor Boris Vallejo and an interview with Guest of Honor Tim Powers. Other articles include an interview with Brad Foster, the creator of "Rennie," the Renovation mascot; the announcement of Special Guest Tricky Pixie; the status of non-smoking and smoking areas at Renovation; an article by Webmaster Rick Lindsley, "The Bid According to Rick;" and descriptions of convention facilities.

For those members who have specified electronic versions or who want to read PR1 online while waiting for their paper copies to arrive, PR1 is available at www.renovationsf.org/progress-reports.php. If members are uncertain whether they have requested electronic or paper versions of progress reports, they can send inquires to the membership team at memberships@renovationsf.org.
