Volunteers

All conventions - and all bids - need volunteers. Of course the particular tasks that need doing change over time and during the remainder of the bid through to Montréal, we are particuarly looking for people who can help us with our convention appearances.

You can find the current list of our planned appearances here. We would be delighted to hear from people who can help us at any of these events - it takes quite a number of people to staff a desk for a whole weekend, and more to run parties as well. Why now offer to work a shift - usually just a couple of hours - to learn more about the bid, to meet some of the committee, and to show your support?

You can reach our volunteer coordinators, Sharon Pierce and Melanie Hertz, by emailing us at volunteers@rcfi.org, letting us know which convention(s) you may be able to help out with. Sharon and Melanie can then tell you what events we're putting on at those conventions, and put you in touch with the committee members who are attending.
