Where We've Been
We've had a great time taking the Reno bid on the road right from the start on Memorial Day weekend in 2008,
when we simultaneously launched the bid at no less than five conventions. Below is a list of some
of the places we've been seen since then - click on the links to see photos where available. And if you have any
photos of our appearances that you'd be willing for us to publish, please contact us at
info@rcfi.org.
Finally, if you want to catch up with us between now and the vote in Montréal, check out
our plans for the rest of 2009.

And a few of our favourites ...

Balticon 2008: TR Renner and Mark Herrup demonstrate the pose they held for six and a half hours as
they cleverly avoided violating the host hotel's "no tape" rule. |

ConQuesT 2008: It wouldn't be a party without a gracious host, waiting to answer your questions and hand
you a plate. |

WisCon 2008: Notice the clever use of hollow Spiderman heads and baby hippo bodies to hold food and thus
draw the attention of both the comic fans and the African fans to this table. The mirror creates the illusion of
double the food, keeping both hungry and narcissistic guests at the party nearly twice as long. |
