Dealers' Zone
Become a dealer
The Dealers’ Zone at Loncon 3 will be located at the heart of the Exhibits Hall. Main roads will run through the Dealers’ Zone from the hall entrances to other key attractions such as the Art Show. Side roads will branch off these high traffic routes. All roads will be named. The whole Dealers’ Zone area will be surrounded by displays, to create a traffic flow that will keep people moving through the dealer space.
Booking Tables
Table pricing until 28 February 2014 is as follows (all prices include VAT):
- Table only: £140 (for this, you must hold a full attending membership)
- Table plus two hall passes: £170 (for those dealers who don’t want access to the rest of the convention. These passes give the holder access to the Exhibits Hall space during regular dealer hours and are transferrable; but they do not include convention publications or WSFS voting rights).
If you are buying more than one table, you might want one “table with passes” and for the rest to be “table only”. Each member of dealers’ staff present on any day of the convention must have an attending membership of Loncon 3, a relevant day admission, or a hall pass.
Hall passes can be upgraded to regular attending memberships (Adult or Young Adult) at any time by paying the currently applicable rate for new memberships, less £15.
Power drops are available from £60.
Dealers can select their exact table location, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each bank of tables is given an alphabetical label on the layout.
Once you have selected the tables you are interested in (with our assistance if needed), please complete the booking form to request your space.
We try to keep information on vacant spaces up-to-date, but by the end of each week it is sometimes incorrect. We will be happy to talk you through your choices and what space is currently available. Please get in touch with us at dealers@loncon3.org and we can provide support by email, Skype or telephone.
When we receive your form we will contact you to confirm receipt and to provide information about how you can pay the deposit (£60 per table) to secure your booking. This includes the option to pay the deposit (and the remaining balance, due by 1 July 2014) online. The confirmation email will contain a link to the payment page and the booking reference that you'll need to quote. If you need us to re-send your confirmation email, please contact dealers@loncon3.org
Please make sure you have read the Terms and Conditions before applying for space in the Dealers’ Zone. Even if you are a regular Worldcon vendor, there may be terms which are different this year.
Please note the following:
- Tables will be 6 feet (approximately 183 cm) wide by 30 inches (approximately 76 cm) deep.
- All tables will be provided with standard white cloth covers. Dealers are welcome to add their own coloured/decorated covers.
- Two folding chairs will be provided with the first table booked by each dealer; one additional chair will be provided for each additional table booked.
- Tariff codes and costs for importing into the UK can be found via www.gov.uk/trade-tariff/sections. Dealers are solely responsible for their own import costs and arrangements.
- We will include a list of confirmed dealers on this site – including a link to your own website if you have one.
Small presses and other small vendors who do not wish to take their own table should read this.
