Kaffeeklatsches and literary beers

One of the features of a Worldcon is the large numbers and wide range of writers, artists and other creators who attend the convention – and the opportunity to bump into them at a programme item or informally in the bar. But you don’t need to rely on serendipity alone at Loncon 3, since many of them will be participating in Kaffeeklatsches.

Kaffeeklatsches are small group discussions where members can sign up for an hour of coffee and conversation with a kafffeeklatsch host – writers, artists, editors, critics, and other interesting people. Literary beers are similar small group discussions but (you’ve guessed it) involve you bringing along your beer instead.

So look out for updates to this page, and you could be spending an hour with your favourite creative professional, getting to ask them that question you’ve always wanted answered and finding out what they think!
