Sponsorship

We’re planning for Loncon 3 to be an exciting and vibrant event in an exciting and vibrant city. We have an enthusiastic team, full of terrific ideas that will make Loncon 3 an event to remember. And we have a lot of support within the SF community, and want to do our best to repay that support.

We’re expecting that at least 5,000 people will be attending Loncon 3 – including readers, writers, artists, publishers, editors, costumers, gamers, and other genre enthusiasts from all walks of life. There will be significant numbers of attendees based in the United Kingdom, the rest of Europe, the Unted States and Canada – and representation from countries in the Middle and Far East as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Loncon 3 is open to working with other community and commercial partners to achieve an even better experience for all of our attendees who’ll be visiting London in August 2014. There are a number of ways in which organisations could sponsor aspects of Loncon 3 and be associated with the event; more details will be made available here as our plans are confirmed and new opportunities are identified.

If you’re interested in advertising in Loncon 3’s publications, information about prices, timing and specifications can be found here.

If you’re looking for additional impact, there will be a number of opportunities to sponsor specific publications including:

Pocket Programme (also known as the “Read Me” or Convention Guide): This is given to all members; it will contain detailed information about what’s scheduled each day at the convention and will thus be referenced very frequently over the convention by those attending. It is available for sponsorship, with clear sponsor credits and a full-page advertisement, to a single sponsor with no other advertising featured; it thus provides excellent visibility and impact.
Hugo Award Ceremony booklet: This is given to all members attending the Hugo Award Ceremony which is one of our major events and usually attracts significant publicity, including from press outside the SF community.
